Better Late Than Never! Sorry Guys =(

It's been 2 weeks since my last post!  I was off for Memorial Day and the last thing I thought to do was log in to the blog and post about my week!  My bad guys!  I also had some cell phone issues, which means I didn't have a bunch of pics to post of my week, but I'll do my best...

Lots of things happening.  Adam and I renovated a bedroom in our house turning it into a nice home office/hang out room.  And my house, which has been on the market for nearly 10 months now may finally be sold.  Plus, my work is INSANE right now with so much to do!  Lots and lots going on.  But in the meantime, here's how the last 2 weeks went down!

How My Week Went

Monday - 3.09 mile walk from my office to the Riverwalk and back.  Gym:  5 min. warmup/1 mile run/3 min. cool down.  Home:  2.5 mile bike ride (once around my neighborhood)

Tuesday -  My phone broke as I stepped on the treadmill at the gym!!!!  I was so mad!  I literally walked in the gym, got on the treadmill, and turned around and left so I could get to Sprint before my 5:30 telephone conference group meeting.  I was frustrated because that meant I wasn't going to get in my workout!!!  I got home, did my telephone conference, and decided to do Day 1 of my 30 Day Cut Weight Program for UFC Personal Trainer for the Playstation Move.  Similar to the Wii, but for Playstation.  Glad I did.  I was so sore after!  Good workout and glad that I didn't let something as stupid as my phone derail my progress!

Wednesday -  Still no phone = No Pandora = 1 upset Shannon.  Sprint says the new phone will be in Friday and that I can head over to Sprint at 3 and pick it up.  I was dreading the treadmill because I listen to Pandora, I sing, and I watch Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, Man vs. Food, or Restaurant Impossible while running.  I left work, headed home, did Day 2 of the 30 Day Cut Weight Program on UFC Personal Trainer, went to the gym and did a mile and a half on the treadmill, and then did the Zumba class.  There were easily 20 people in class lastnight!  It was great!

Thursday -  Walked to Royal Street for work = 2.5 miles.  Left work at 4 and did the Day 3 of the UFC Personal Trainer Cut Weight Program!  I finished that up just in time to get to the gym for Body Pump class.  The UFC Personal Trainer is on a schedule and since I started it on Tuesday, this week's schedule went:  Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, off Friday, back at it Saturday.  Come Saturday I'll know what this next week schedule is.  As much as I didn't want to do it, I want to stick with it.  It's only 20 minutes, so what the hell huh?

Friday - Finally got my phone back! 

Saturday - Bike ride - 6.5 miles, walk through Jean Lafitte Park - 2.5 miles, and played on the spacewalk/slip-n-slide fun at Steph and Jackie's bbq.

Sunday - More of the same..painting  painting and more painting.  We are in the process of renovating a bedroom into an office.  I hate painting!

Monday - Shopping for office furniture ALL DANG DAY!  Found nothing.  It was sad.  Gym was closed...which made me even more sad. 

Tuesday -  2.5 mile walk at work, 30 min. run on the treadmill, online group meeting

Wednesday -  2.5 mile walk at work, 30 min. run on the treadmill, Body Pump Class!

Thursday -   2.5 mile walk at work, 30 min. run on the treadmill, Zumba!!

Friday - 30 min. run on the treadmill, 10 min. on the stairclimber

Saturday - Body Pump Class!  I was proud of myself for getting up super early to go to class!  After class I headed home and showered up for a birthday party.  It was HOT and HUMID but we had a great time.  After the party I headed home and I cut and edged the front and back yards, and spent the rest of the evening (until midnight) doing touchup paint, and painting the new closet doors in the office. 

Sunday - Cleaned the entire house from top to bottom.  Moved into the new office.  It looks so nice!

Took Brock to a birthday party at the City Park Amusement Park.  He was so excited because he's tall enough to ride all the rides, including the bumper cars which he rode about 15 times!  It was fun!  I rode them as well!

Ferris wheel fun, something that drops you from high up, something that I refused to ride that spins you around really quick forward and then backward...good times.

And to remind everyone what I was working with...here's what my old office looked like before:

BEFORE:  BLUE WALLS AND BROWN CROWN MOLDING!!!  Also, gold and mirrored closet doors, and gold and wood toned ceiling fans!  It was tragic!  No idea what the previous owners were thinking when they did that room!

 Now that the room needs only finishing touches, like curtains, and pictures, we may never get to that if the house sells.  We'll see!

I'll be back to regular posting this coming week and I'll have more to say...
