HAPPY NEW YEAR WEDNESDAY WARRIORS!!!I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season! I had a GREAT one! I got to spend it with my friends and family, so that was PERFECT for me!
On the 31st, I got a wild hair. I hadn’t been to the gym in 2 weeks so I wanted to end the year on a high note. I went to the gym and busted out some C25K action. The routine was:
5 minute walk
20 minute jog
5 minute walk
While I didn’t make it for the whole 20 minutes, which I wasn’t expecting, I did do pretty good. I was able to jog for 10 minutes straight, 90 second break and jogged 8 ½ minutes straight!!! I was able to average 4 mph for the 30 minute session and was able to do 2 minutes at 5 mph! That’s a HUGE step from barley making it to the 30 second mark on that first day! This is my 5th week on C25K and I think I closed it out with a bang!!
Week 5 Day 1 – (12/12) – 1.90 miles 16:18 pace
Week 5 Day 2 – (12/17) – 1.93 miles 16:03 paceWeek 5 Day 3 – (12/31) – 1.99 miles 15:04 pace
As for the 5lbs by January 1st, that didn’t happen but giving that I drank… a lot… on New Year’s Eve, I’m not surprised. These are my weight loss stats to present:
12/12 – 172
12/19 – 171.2 (-.8)
12/26 – 170.0 (-2.0)
01/02 – 170.4 (-1.6)
So I’m still down 1.6 lbs. so that’s 50.4 lbs to goal!!!
Speaking of goal, I have added mine to the GOALS tab!
Keep up your “Make a plan or plan to fail” attitude this year! I know I’m working on it!!!!!
