Accomplishments

What's going on everyone on this wonderfully BUSY Monday!  This post is coming mid-afternoon after a huge project just got completed here at work.  It's an awesome feeling when you complete something that has been looming over your head.  While it wasn't easy to get it done, it was worth it!  Sorta like weightloss huh?  Not easy, but worth it?

I accomplished a big project today that I started at 9 a.m.  I worked through my lunch hour, non-stop, and I just finished (3 p.m.).  I also accomplished a big project that I worked on all weekend.  I am doing the Do Life Challenge and everyone participating had to submit their weight on Friday.  The first weigh in was today, just 3 days later.  I wanted a good weigh in and I got it... 4 pounds down!

I got in 5 workouts last week...5 out of 7 ain't too shabby if I do say so myself!  Funny thing is that the two days I missed were during the week!  Ha!  Normally people skip out on weekends because they've got better things to do than hit the gym, but I hit it hard and got what I wanted...results.

I'm looking at my calendar and I see that I have only 10 days left til my appointment for the Heads Up program.  I am excited, nervous, anxious and just ready to get it started already!  I've got a hotel room booked and I am ready to go!  It's a one and a half hour drive, if you don't hit traffic, to the facility in Baton Rouge.  My appointment is for 7:45 and everyone who is familiar with Baton Rouge area and the traffic says I need to leave by 5:30 to be sure I get there on time.  Not to mention I'm the kinda girl that likes a shower in the morning, so that has me up at 4:30 to shower, do my hair and makeup and get to Baton Rouge.  Did I mention it's a fasting appointment so I can't even have coffee on my road trip?  Yeah, no thanks!  Hotel room it is!

So my goals for this week are simple...eat good, exercise, get plenty of sleep, and track my progress so come next Monday I can tell you what I did, when I did it, and how awesome I was at it!

No fun pictures for today, no awesome sayings...just a big smile to cap off this Monday post.

Have a great week ahead!
